It’s time for a “Brave New World”.
Bringing together 150 of the country’s finest British brands which give the invitation-only issue its name, Country & Townhouse’s Great British Brands 2023 celebrates the start of a new Carolean era, and looks ahead to a greener, fairer and more balanced world. Great British Brands 2023 asks founders and CEOs to describe how they’re creating companies of the future and gives the brands their vigorous support as they lead Britain into 2023’s Brave New World by energising British manufacturing and involving citizens to help them protect our planet.
And we’re thrilled that Great British Brands invited Guava & Gold to feature as one of those 150 brands as it looks at the innovative ways British businesses are overcoming tough new challenges and evolving for the future with its cover star being none other than King Charles III – but as you’ve never seen him before, captured in virtual reality by the artist, Leo Caillard.
It means so much to Guava & Gold as a young, independent brand with a focus on premium haircare, products with natural oils and kind-to-skin ingredients such as coconut oil and shea butter to be featured alongside so many of the biggest, most iconic names in their luxury fields. All of which are bringing new ideas to inspire and working to bring about meaningful change as they create the companies of the future.
And, as a female-founded company, we particularly love Tahmina Anam’s essay in the book about the metaverse “If Women Built The World”.
Her conclusion: "Companies: hire more women. Not because you should (but really, you should), but because the future will be better. For everyone."
